Please email huntersynagogue@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming a dinner sponsor.
The continued vibrancy of our community depends upon your generosity of time and spirit.
Set forth below is a list of responsibilities of sponsors. If the tasks seem like too much for you, please ask someone who has done it before to partner with you.
Sponsor Responsibilities :
Coordinating a balanced potluck meal.
Managing the list of menu items on this list.
Bringing a dish that fills a gap in the dinner menu that has not been taken by an attendee.
Being mindful of known participant allergies: NO dishes containing Eggplant, Nuts, or Seeds.
Supplying fresh Milk for coffee, Soda and Bottled Water.
Working with the janitor to open up and help with setup and clean up.
Ensuring under no circumstances is any food ever to be left anywhere including the refrigerator. Everything is “CARRY IN, CARRY OUT”.
The only thing allowed to be stored in the refrigerator from month to month is coffee, tea, sugar, unopened soda, and the Kiddush wine. Everything else, including but not limited to condiments, salad dressing, goes home with whoever brought it or it gets thrown out.
All tables, counters and surfaces that held food must be wiped down and disinfected.
The Janitor will take care of removing the trash. If they are unable to be there then the sponsor is in charge of removal. It cannot be left inside or on the street.
Participants must pitch in and help until everything is cleaned up.
Sponsors will have to stay with the Janitor so that they can set the alarm, lockup and doesn’t have to leave alone. If they are not there that night, the sponsor will need to set the alarm and lock up.
